Yoga For Stitchers
"You
must approach your yoga practice with reverence and gratitude and
love. Its very much like entering a temple." Amrit Desai
Hey all you cross stitchers, it's time for a little yoga. Please put down your frames and needles and take off your shoes. This yoga sequence was designed for cross stitchers, but it works great for anyone that spends hours in repetitive movement activities. One of the more important lessons you can learn from these exercises is about breathing. These stretches help you retrain your body to breathe longer and deeper and give you a break from your stitching.
Refrain from judging or placing high expectations on yourself as you learn these exercises. When you feel discomfort or pain, simply stop. If you feel dizzy or nauseous while practicing, simply stop. If you feel any tingling or numbing sensation while practicing, simply stop. If you are a beginner, please review YogaEverywhere.com's guidelines.

Click on any of the drop down menus above for our selection of yoga
practices or the specific list of Asanas for this sequence in the left column. Let's begin ...
inhale slowly, exhale completely, turn your attention inward and
listen to what your body needs.
